Are you in denial about your weight?


Even if you think you don't need an herbal diet supplement from Herbal Groups to help you shed some pounds, you may be wrong. That's because according to a recent survey conducted by researchers from the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation at the University of Washington, most Americans are in denial about how much weight they have gained.

The scientists found that, on average, the people involved in the study had gained weight between 2008 and 2009, when the study was conducted. However, these individuals reported to researchers that they had lost pounds throughout the year.

"If people aren’t in touch with their weight and changes in their weight over time, they might not be motivated to lose weight," said lead study author Catherine Wetmore, Ph.D.

She added that although there has been a great deal of importance placed on the environmental factors that contribute to obesity, the most important thing health officials can do right now is help Americans understand what is happening to their bodies. Then, people will be able to make more informed decisions regarding their eating and exercise habits.
