Don’t fall for common diet myths

Have you been trying to lose weight for years, but no matter what diet you follow nothing seems to work? If so, you should take an herbal diet supplement such as Body Sculpt Rx from Herbal Groups, and think about whether you've fallen prey to popular diet myths. There are many myths out there that your friends and neighbors will say can help you shed pounds, but are actually harming your weight loss efforts.

Yahoo! Shine and WebMD published articles debunking some of these myths. First, with all the low-carb diets out there, many you may believe that all breads and starches make you fat, but that's not the case.

"Starchy vegetables and bread (whole-grain bread, that is) are quality carbs needed to fuel every part of you, from your brain to your muscles. What gets you into trouble is how you eat them: Smear butter on a slice of whole-wheat bread or deep-fry potatoes and you can double, triple, or quadruple the calories," according to the news source.

WebMD states that while many people believe that snacking between meals is bad during a diet, in reality if you eat healthy snacks like almonds or fruit, then you'll eat less during meals and lose more weight. Also, you don't have to avoid all fast food joints, just look for healthier options such as grilled chicken and soft tacos, and keep sauces on the side.
