Go low-fat to wipe out hot flashes and night sweats

Are you an older woman? If so, you should be taking an herbal anti-aging supplement like a multivitamin from Herbal Groups to ensure you are getting all of the nutrients you need to stay healthy as the years go on. You should also be eating right, and have a diet rich in fruits and vegetables, because according to a recent Kaiser Permanente Division of Research study, older women on a low-fat diet experienced a reduction in hot flashes and night sweats.

While most people should be on a low-fat diet that is rich in whole grain, fruits and veggies, these findings should further encourage you to eat right if you are approaching menopause. You may also want to take an herbal diet supplement, since the scientists added that excess body fat may make it more difficult for the body to rid itself of the excess heat caused by hot flashes.

"Weight loss, especially loss of fat mass but not lean mass, might also help alleviate hot flashes and night sweats," said researcher Candyce Kroenke.

Don't let yourself suffer through hot flashes any longer, especially in during the summer months. Take control of your diet and potentially eliminate these annoying symptoms.
