Could you drink your way to better joint health?

Osteoporosis is one of the most common conditions that comes along with aging. If you're one of the millions of Americans who experience joint pain due to this problem, then you should take an herbal joint supplement such as Lubra Joint from Herbal Groups. You may also want to go ahead and pour yourself a glass of wine at dinner, since a new study conducted by researchers at Oregon State University found that women who consume one or two alcoholic drinks a day may have better bone health than those who do not.

According to the researchers, bones are constantly remodeling themselves, losing and replacing old bone. If you have osteoporosis, more bone is lost than reformed. This study found that moderate alcohol consumption may help combat this problem.

"Everyone loses bone as they age, but not everyone develops osteoporosis," said researcher Russell Turner. "Being able to identify factors, such as moderate alcohol intake, that influence bone health will help people make informed lifestyle choices."

Of course, the key here is moderation. This study doesn't give you a free pass to go out and drink heavily every night for your bones. Instead, the scientists recommended sticking to one or two glasses of beer or wine a night.
